The Battle of Crete and Greece Commemorative Council is proud to present British based author and historian Mr Chris White for a Lecture / Presentation on the “Cretan Resistance and SOE in WW2”, on Saturday 17th March at the Greek Centre, 168 Lonsdale Street Melbourne at 2.00pm. Chris will outline his research into the story of the resistance to German occupation on Crete during WW2, including the experience of the British SOE agents and the famous kidnapping of the German General Krepe in 1944. The presentation will feature photographs rarely seen before, as well as Chris’ own taken as part of his identification of the locations used by the resistance and SOE.
